"Sound, music. Come, my queen, take hands with me,
and rock the ground whereon these sleepers be."
  William Shakespeare – A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Vision

A particular interest of the Oberon Trio is in engaging the audience and public in the music-making experience as broadly as possible. We welcome opportunities to interact with the audience in formats beyond the strict concert setting, seeking out occasions and settings where the contact to the listeners can be both more informal and more direct. These include:

- After-concert open discussions
- Open rehearsals prior to performances
- Masterclasses in local music schools and conservatories
- Concerts in non-concert hall settings (i.e., schools, museums, libraries, senior homes, churches, community centers)

We are also dedicated to furthering our own study of the music we play, part of this scholarship including the decision to write our own program notes.
